Kindness meditation and sharing. Every Second Wednesday in Stanley's Hall.
Based on the work of Nipun Mehta, we gather once a month to sit in silence for an hour, do a circle of sharing our "aha" moments from the month's inspirational reading, or weekly Act of Kindness Smile Deck Card, (read them below) and share a healthy vegetarian pot-luck meal in silence. It is simply an offering in the spirit of service and kindness. Love offerings accepted.

Dec 31 - Leave a snack for an unsuspecting co-worker or friend.
Jan 7 - Give a friend your favorite inspirational book with a personal note attached
Jan 14 - Connect two friends who had not previously met each other.
Jan 21 - Share an inspirational story from today's news.
Jan 28 - Make a lunch for someone and slip a joke in it.
Feb 4 - Write positive notes about your family or friends and share them.
Feb 11 - Help someone with a chore, unexpectedly.
Feb 18 - Do a 'dance of joy' for someone close to you.
Feb 25 - Using crayons, make your own card for someone you love.
Mar 4 - Write a song, poem, or note for a loved one.
Mar 11 - Get in touch with an old friend who you'd like to reconnect with.
Mar 18 - Write a thank you note to a teacher who inspired you.
Mar 25 - Call a mentor to say thank you.
